So sweet. They were made by my Great Grandma who loved to embroider. I promised my Nanna that I would cherish them and not put them on ebay.

I might have to wear one to my next BrisStyle market.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5877236014410090985.post-57225538376831620892010-11-04T21:14:24.687+10:002010-11-04T21:14:24.687+10:00We didn't have any of this sort of stuff growi...We didn't have any of this sort of stuff growing up, lots of chenille yes but no embroidered pillowcases.

I have the brown sheet set that you mention, I've just used some to make horns for my monster cushions :)..and yes, sometimes I wonder if things get past their use by date. Use them, enjoy them and love them every day and if they were given to you by a loved one orbelonged to a loved one I bet you will find that loved one is closer to you if you use their gift or possesion than if you hide it away in a cupboard. The pillow slips are sooo lovely, cheers Katherine. PS My friend loved her tea towels I also got her some place mats...I hope she uses them and dosn't hide them away for "Best".the old boathousehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09095421473237572556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5877236014410090985.post-40359826124050936232010-11-04T08:20:28.290+10:002010-11-04T08:20:28.290+10:00I know exactly what you mean about developing Gran...I know exactly what you mean about developing Granny instincts!
