Cooking from the Heart

Australians will remember this year's Victorian bushfires as one of our nation's worse disasters. Many blog followers participated in the many efforts from the Handmade Help team with assisting bushfire victims on their road to recovery.

One such endeavour is the new Homemade Recipe Book which has now been published after months of hard work. This wonderful book is a truly international effort with crafters and artists from around the world donating favourite family recipes. I love the cover, don't you?

If you would like to buy a copy of this wonderful recipe book, please visit the website. Bushfire victims will receive a free copy and all sales proceeds will go to the Salvation Army.

Look out for my traditional Greek lentil dip!

Thea, it looks great. I love that you are blogging about it and "getting it out there'. I will be buying one. I have worked in the Kinglake region pre/post fires, I am always left mouth agape, shaking my head and speechless (which is rare!) as we drive through.

What a wonderful project! This is the perfect Christmas present to send overseas...maybe wrapped in one of your gorgeous tea-towels!

I look forward to popping by and seeing you at the market on Sunday.
