Shelf/Life - Eco Shop
I decided to fly to Sydney last Thursday and Friday. I visited the Life Instyle Trade Show and was impressed by the quality of exhibitors and their displays. I am hoping to take part in the next show in August.
I also visited a fantastic new store in Surry Hills called Shelf/Life that specialises in eco-friendly homewares and gifts. I had spoken to the lovely owner Jess Yee (pictured) a few days prior to my trip and was delighted to personally dropped off some hand-printed tea-towels to her. Jess wasted no time in displaying them on her fabulous old ladder.
Jess is very clever with her product display. These cards displays were made from cupboard doors taken from the bedroom of Jess's parents. Jess then screwed on some perspex shelves and voila!
A beautifully painted chest is brimming with eco-friendly cushions. Are you surprised to learn that Jess is a trained interior designer?
Look out for more Thea & Sami products arriving in Shelf/Life soon including table runners, bread baskets and tea-cosies. Tomorrow, I will also be showing you some goodies that I couldn't resist picking up from Shelf/Life for myself. See that post here.
For more store images and to see what else is available in store, visit the Shelf/Life Blog.
All photos taken by me.

the tea towels look fantastic on the ladder!
It's just all in the presentation - isn't it? Ladders should be used with crafty abandon!
I have also visited Shelf/Life - a great range of eco friendly homewares plus cards & paper. And yes presentation is simple but very nice.
Ooh, lovely! Congrats on getting into yet another beautiful shop :-) xx
