Have you ever fancied yourself as a published artist? Here's your opportunity to be included in The Diary Project 2010.
Each page of this diary is designed by a different artist/crafter from around the world. To design a page you need to have a web space from where you sell or promote your art such as personal website, blog, Etsy, Flickr, etc. Participation is free, you get free publicity and you will have a discount on the book purchase.
These are example pages from last year's diary. The 2010 diary will be the third edition and will be published in 3 languages.
I apologise for the late posting of this project but with my crazy schedule of late, I had forgotten that I had signed on months ago. I have reserved the page for January 12 which is my birthday. The final date for submissions is August 1 but as a designer, you probably thrive on deadlines. Never fear, I haven't done my page yet either.
There are still some pages available so if you would like to be included then visit the website for more information and instructions: http://fantazya.ca/diary2010.html

What a fabulous idea! I hadn't heard of it before - thanks for this Thea! Not that I'd be eligible of course, but maybe next year... Such a cool idea :) K
Looks great Thea! When will it be out?
That's such a fantastic idea Thea! Thanks for sharing! I am up for a bit of scribbling, oops I mean creative penwork!
Thank you for sharing this. I am going to see if I can get a page.
It would be cool if you all participated too.
I can't find the date for when it will be available but I have asked the coordinator so will let you know Anabel.
Kylie, you really underestimate your talents. You could so scan one of your prints or collages.
thanks Thea!! I am onto it :)
Thanks for visiting my blog!
All the best,
Ronda
The diary is going to be available for purchase at the beginning of September.
It was a fun project to participate in! I smiled b/c the pages you have open (or maybe you pulled them from the website) are my friend Michelle's of http://cicadastudio.etsy.com and mine, http://daisyjanie.etsy.com. I ordered a bunch and used them as giveaways on Scoutie Girl!
Yes, I did pull the pages from the website but I am looking forward to seeing the new diary in "the flesh" so to speak. The giveaway is a great idea! Thanks for visiting again, DJ.
I saw this last year. Isn't it such a good idea.
Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday too. Putting names and faces (and blogs) together will be such a treat.
What a fab idea.
Just finished my diary page. I'm a bit paranoid about my French and Spanish translations though! Thanks for the link, Kate x
