I've been invited to Morning Tea this morning as a special guest and I'm quite looking forward to it. If you're interested to know more, check back later as I must go and find something pretty to wear now.
In the mean time, you can enjoy my mismatched porcelain teacup collection. Read about it here.
I hope you have something special planned too. Have a lovely day!

I have one of these, too. A Crazy Tea Set and quite big in the fifties and sixties, I think. My Nin started mine and I just keep adding to it at auctions and op shops. She also used the tourist spoons with hers so guests could remember which plate was theirs. I fall in love with a different one each time I use them. Hope your morning tea was divine. Lisa x
Love your tea cups....have fun., cheers Katherine
Hi just found your blog NICE I have 6 cups and saucers that are identical to the blue one your bunny is sitting in I just love duo and trio sets can't get enough
How lovely! So much nicer than matchy matchy sets.
I'm collecting trios, with a mix of old from family and antique shops as well as new.
Do you have anywhere special to display your pretty teacups when they are not being used?
Hi Kirsty, I display my teacups in my china cabinet which unfortunately, doesn't seem to look that good in my new dining room so I may have to paint it or something. So much to do...
I love old china. Tea always seems to taste better when it's served in a pretty cup..Enjoy your morning tea..YUM..
