There are definitely better ways to spend a Sunday morning but this is what I did today.
Tying hang tags is pretty boring, right? However, when the alternative is to sit in a chair in a hospital doing nothing, it seemed like a good way to manage my time while visiting.
Yep, the man is back in hospital. This leg infection is pretty stubborn and keeps returning to the scene of the crime. Friday night was a terrible time and I had to call the ambulance for help and poor Voyt was rushed to the emergency department.
I felt pretty helpless as I did have to teach a screen-printing class yesterday. As I had already postponed once before, I did not want to disappoint my lovely ladies again.
Let's just hope that the man behaves and stays put this time. He is harassing the doctor for a "pass out" for Thursday night to attend the Santana concert which is why I was under strict instructions to bring these crutches to him. The doctor is not making any promises. C'est la vie.
I promise that my next post will be a more positive one with images from yesterday's screen-printing workshop.

It's awful that Voyt's leg is acting up....I hope he is well and is able to come home soon.
P.S. The tags look great. Looks as though you got alot of work done bedside!
How terrible ! I do hope that leg improves very soon .
All the very best to Voyt and to you Thea. Take care Mimi xx
Thea , how frustrating for voyt and for you . I hope he beats it this time!
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear your family has been having such a tough time lately! Best wishes for better times ahead.
That infection just won't go away, will it? I hope Voyt gets better soon. You did well to bring along something to do at the hospital. xx
I'm so sorry to hear about Voyt ... I completely understand how keeping your hands busy is a necessary distraction.
Take care of yourself and your family, Thea.
xx
Thea that is awful about Voyt's leg infection (again!). How scary requiring an ambulance. Excellent multi-tasking. The tags are great, I like the natural string you've chosen.
I could bang my head on the wall for you and chant "what next?".
He's a stubborn man with a stubborn infection! Hope it all goes ok this time - I feel for him with the concert - it would be terrific. Hope he makes it!
sorry to hear you are having a tough time. A Santana concert is good incentive to behave and follow orders. I think you used your time wisely.
And I bet the ladies understood your priorities.
oh dear - that does not sound great !! thanks for visiting the third :) BTW love your iron flowers design .... and when I head back to bris vegas I will have to learn how to screen print with you - hope this week gets better le xox
That darn infection again! Your poor husband. My goodness, and he still wants to attend the concert. I hope he is not on the ground floor because I can see him escaping the hospital through the window. Keep your eye on him Thea. Hope he gets better real soon!
Tags look good and why not use that time to your advantage - sad about your husband's ongoing leg issues though - wishing him a speedy recovery and hope he gets to go to the concert :)
I am sorry to that your husband is back in hospital. I have been through the same kindof thing...a few years ago my husband came down with a mystery illnes that was pretty full on. Rather than think negatively, I moved all of my art making gear into his room. (I was doing my art degree) There was paper and charcoal everywhere! It lifted his spirits (I think) because he didin't think he was dying anymore...who could amidst such mess! Good on you. Hope he gets better soon. xx
Oh no! Again! Not good, I hope he heals quickly and for once and for all this time!
Love to you both!
Best of luck to you and your husband! Sometimes the best thing to do is keep your hands busy while your mind is busy worrying.
Hi Thea, sorry to hear that it's happened again. Take care and be patient I'm sure Voyt's leg will get better with time, it must be so frustrating!
I love the tags, they're brilliant! You're amazing!
Ciao
