The Goods

Okay stickybeaks, if you've been hanging out to see what else was in our goody bags, the wait is over.

The prettiest Tea Bag Holders sewn by Linda Simpson of Lilly Cottage.

Linda is not just a champion crafter but also a poet. Each of these holders came packaged with the following verse:

Here is something pretty and frilly from the little Cottage called Lilly. Pop in a teabag for you to use or even a business card if you choose. A little reminder of a great Cause. Wishing, Health, Wealth and Happiness to you and yours.

Truly a lovely souvenier of the day.

I've long been a fan of Kerri Shipp's art and was delighted that we each received a mini print.

Other goodies included a Honey Bunny pattern (sorry if you didn't get one, these were limited stock) from Clare's Craftroom, a Georgina Berkman card, a mini soap in a linen bag from Bayside Rose and a linen tea-towel (all different) from Thea & Sami.

More lovely prizes for the raffle included a glass bead lariat with its own pouch from Creative Arty Facts. Katherine from the Old Boathouse donated some fresh flowers in a vintage collaged pot and a Georgian plate set. Unfortunately, I didn't get photos of those but if the winners have, please pass them on.

Georgina Berkman also donated 2 x 5 pack cards for the raffle. Other raffle prizes previously mentioned were the brooch from Red Revival, the wonderful painting from Sarah Woods and the therapeutic massage from Janelle Bray.

The lucky raffle winners were:
Sarah Woods Painting - Liz DeLuca
Old Boathouse Flowers in Pot - Kerri Shipp
Old Boathouse Georgian Plate Set - Leanne Marsh who bought the tickets from afar but kindly sent her mum and friend along.
Janelle Bray Massage Therapy - Georgina Berkman
Creative Arty Facts Lariat - Kate Johnstone
Red Revival Brooch - Janelle Bray.
Georgina Berkman card packs - Sonia Jacobs.

Congratulations to all of the winners and thank you to all of you generous souls!

How wonderful to have all those amazing donations! I adore everything made by the gorgeous Linda, and Pam's soaps are so so devine! I would be so chuffed with getting one of your tea towels too! I bet everyone went home with a smile on their faces! X

I think the morning tea supporters would have felt that they received more than they gave with those beautiful bags full of goodies and the amazing prizes won on the raffles!

Dearest Thea & Sami,

Thanks for your visit and comment. As to how to use the saved blog format. My guess is indeed that you import it from that file format. You also can import it to other blog formats such as Wordpress and such. But it sure makes me feel better knowing that e.g each Sunday I save it. Another hint is to have your blog send to your own email address. A while ago most people lost their blogs but I had mine back in a minute from my email version (sometimes it is not 100% edited but that's no big deal) and even the comments I could put back on (using the URLs of each blogger instead of their picture or whatever). So if you adjust under Settings the Email & Mobile section and put there your own address you are good. That way if you back up weekly you then can delete those daily emails and start all over for the next week. As for saving the comments I put under Settings and Comments: Comment Moderation - Always. That's how you receive an email and can delete or publish a comment, even from your cell phone (as I do even when I'm on the road). If you have you own business it only takes one nasty comment to harm you and this is a sure way of avoiding that all together.
I would love to follow you but your followers are not shown... Will come back later, have filed your blog for getting into it again.
Lots of love from Georgia/USA and have a great weekend. My Goddaughter is still in Queensland for the entire month of May. Her best friend married an Australian...

Thank you for the shout out Thea, I am so glad you liked my little business card holders (also great for tea bags...apt for your event). I did miss out on one of Clares patterns...but am more than happy with my goodie bag and my lovely morning.
Beautiful photos too!
Kiss Noises Linda
