As a Queenslander, it seemed strange to me to see such a lovely beach so empty at the end of October. Too cold, too many sharks or both?
This is the famous Jetty Road where I had a delicious lunch of Salt & Pepper Squid because one should have seafood by the seaside.
But the best part of my day was finding myself in my own luxury hotel room, soaking in a relaxing bath and just waking up from the sweetest 3 hour nap ever! I did wake up at 3.30 am this morning to pack for the airport at 5.00 am.I'm pleased to report that all 3 boxes of stock for the Bowerbird Bazaar stand have arrived safely and I'll be ready to meet you all.
