Speaking of birds however, I did manage to get these 2 vintage needlepoints freshened up with blue framing. I used Sky Blue spray paint for both the frame on one and the cardboard mounting of the other new, white frame.
I thought I had a "before" shot but you can only see a snippet here of the old frame. Believe me, it was an ugly brown with gold trim.
It's amazing what colour can do. With my little collection of vintage needlepoints, I'm looking forward to learning how to create an cluster art wall this Saturday. Where you ask? I've decided to do Ivy & Piper's Interior Design Workshop.I guess that means I won't be working in the studio this Saturday or the next when I'll be in Adelaide. I feel a little bit naughty but I'm sure you understand. The studio shop will be open this Friday if you wish to drop in.

Ooh, I'd feel so decadent going to an interior design workshop! I'm doing it that hard way, and mocking up my interior design concepts for my new house on Photoshop. Looking forward to hearing what you learn!
