Bedroom Blues

I've slowly transforming our bedroom into one that we love. Like a bowerbird, I'm collecting lovely blue things to do this.

Vintage Crewel embroidery cushion sourced on Etsy. My one decorating rule is that everything should be either hand-made or vintage.

Remember the painted glass test I did here? Here's another clue of what it was for. Will reveal more plus a tutorial once this project is complete.

Waited 6 months for this gorgeous Bramley hand-painted chest of drawers ordered from Ruby & Rose Interiors. However, it was well worth the wait and everything else in the bedroom is now being added to suit.

Vintage Art Deco style mirror sourced on eBay to hang above the chest. Please note that view in image is not from our house.

Screen-printed Bohemian Blooms white linen in a custom-mixed Blue ink is destined to become our new curtains.

I'm still trying to find the time to cut up fabric squares to make a quilt for our King-Size bed. Perhaps over the Christmas break?

I think I'm going to love those new curtains, I already love the fabric and the colour. Was it the new chest that inspired the design?

No Wendy, I'm not on instagram yet but no doubt I should be. Will look into it.
Carol, the design was inspired by floral lace. Only my colour scheme was inspired by the chest.
