Homestyle New Zealand

I have just received the latest copy of New Zealand's Homestyle magazine and I love it!

It's filled with beautiful homes and great ideas but best of all (for me) are the cushions made from our hand-printed fabrics that are included in the "Eco Chic Interior" article (pages 136-139).

The cushions are made by our Christchurch based stockist, Bolt of Cloth where Kiwis may also purchase the fabrics (thanks Suzannah). Alternatively, the rest of you can purchase directly from us.

How brilliant is this industrial-chic coffee table? It's just a pallet with attached castors.

I'm especially loving the Pool Table Bags (page 132) created from reclaimed pool table felt and available in a variety of colours from Luxford Street.

I'd like to send out a big thank you to Homestyle editor Lucinda Diack who personally sent me the magazine and even book-marked the page where our cushions were featured (so sweet).

I have checked out the Homestyle NZ blog and I think you will really like it too.

Bolt of Cloth - New Zealand

New Zealand friends can now see and buy Thea & Sami selected fabrics from the fabulous Bolt of Cloth shop in Christchurch. This is the place for sourcing quality fabrics from New Zealand and Australian designers.

I wish I could visit this store personally as it looks like so much fun. Customers are welcome to play and experiment with fabrics for as long as they like. Owner Suzannah Tonascia wants you to feel as happy hanging out in her fabric store as you would in a bookstore!

If you're working on a big home project, you may even request a time outside normal store owners for some space to think and look at fabrics at a time that suits both you and your partner. Could this place be any friendlier?

The Bolt of Cloth workroom offers a make-to-order decorating service for items such lamp shades, cushions, roman blinds and curtains. You can even buy our "Peacock Party" linen as cushions. For more information or to shop on-line in NZ dollars, please visit their website.
