Studio Events

With so many people asking when our next Open Studio will be, I have now set the date for Saturday, 20th August.

This your opportunity to visit our studio and see firsthand how we print our beautiful fabrics. We are the only place in Brisbane where you can see yardage printing.

As usual, lots of goodies will be available for purchase including fabric remnants and Oops! prints at a bargain. See more details and RSVP on our Facebook event page.

Have you been meaning to visit our Studio Shop but can't make it on a Saturday? Well, we are now open for trading on Fridays too. Our hours are from 10.00 am - 4.00 pm and until 3.00 pm on Saturdays.

And for those of you who want to learn how to screen-print, it is now easier to secure your place with a 50% deposit. Book directly through our website for our next class on Saturday, 3rd September.

I hope to see you in our studio soon! We are located at Unit 1, 6 Jones Road, Capalaba. See google map.

September Printers

There's a lot of creativity happening around these parts as you can see from the following images taken from Saturday's Intro to Screen-Printing workshop.

Blue and green balloons are perfect for a little boy's room printed by creative mum, Kylie Waye.

Here's Kylie being neighbourly and blow drying a classmate's print.

Pretty flowers in an overlapping 2-colour print by Larissa Cowling for her little girl.

Great curves on these purple pelicans also by Larissa.

Here's Larissa.

You've all seen skulls and cross bones before but not as adorable as these, I bet. Screen-printed by Lainie Browitt.

Here's Lainie.

Nicole Doolan designed and printed a linen tea-towel.

Architect Kirsten Burrowes didn't mind getting her hands dirty.

The big guns were hard at work.

Now the bad news; I'm afraid that all screen-printing classes are now fully booked until the end of November. With my current workload, I don't want to promise to teach any more at this stage but will let you know if and when a new class is scheduled.

If you missed out, you may still want to come along to our Open Studio and see how we screen-print our fabrics. Expect lots of fabrics, homewares and fabric packs on sale.

Screen-Printing October

If you've been thinking about learning to screen-print, then October is the time. 2 places have now become available for our Saturday, October 23rd class. Please book on-line if you're interested. All of our other workshops are fully booked for this year.

Otherwise, you may like to attend our Open Studio on the following Saturday to see how we screen-print our fabrics. RSVP is preferred so that we can cater for you. Further details are on our website.

"Girl with Glasses" screen-print is by past workshop attendee, Celia Swales.
