The Weakest Link

There are days when I just want to cry. Last Tuesday was one of those days. We received a shipment of our new organic cotton t-shirts from our manufacturer and Emily and I were shocked to find THIS much wasted fabric as "off-cuts". This is totally unacceptable coming from a contractor who calls themselves a professional and thought the original fabric was "not as wide". Needless to say, we are now looking for another jersey manufacturer so let me know if you have any recommendations.

So what do I do with all this organic cotton/spandex jersey? If it was woven fabric we could print it and sell it as quilting packs or make up some of our adorable door-mice or lavender products. I was thinking of maybe making some hairbands? If anybody has any idea of how I can try and salvage some of this terrible waste, please let me know.

On a positive note, we have been getting orders for our printed fabrics and Step Bond of Bondville wrote a lovely post about us on her blog. Thank you Steph.
