Baskets and Headaches

Yes, I am alive - barely. After not having a day off in 3 weeks, my body decided to rebel and I was forced to stay home yesterday to battle a migraine. Of course, as fellow-sufferers will attest, this was not a fun way to have a day off. I had to work through the after effects today.

However, I am happy to report that I will be taking a few days off, as of tomorrow afternoon to participate in Shannon Fricke's Decorating Workshop in Bangalow in Friday. This is something that I am really looking forward to.

Meanwhile, we got a lovely batch of linen bread-baskets back today from our seamstress and they're perfect. Each one is reversible and can be tied and used either way. We have used eco-friendly bamboo wadding in these. If you are looking for something special for Mother's Day, these can be posted flat and purchased from our on-line store. Hemp/organic versions like the sample I posted about here, coming soon.

Natalie has been working on a new product for the craft kits that we are giving away at the Melbourne Sew It Together meet-up. Next week we are working on new kits for sale too. More will be revealed shortly.

I love these! I don't love that you have been suffering a migraine (they are awful). Bangalow sounds like the perfect remedy. Have a wonderful time! x

Bit of a basket case myself when one of those headache thingies hit - ouch! (cue high superstition and touching of three kinds of wood). I like the versions for the bread though.

Hope you're back to old self quicksticks.

Darling Thea, i'm a fellow migraine sufferer, since i was about 4 - my very pale blue eyes let in too much light for my sports related migraines as a child & now it's a huge array of things which can trigger - um, 4 children & 2 businesses, soldier husband, no, no stress in my life!! Oh no, i feel for you. Horrible awful way to have a day off. I get about 10 each year & worst thing, i've had them at markets, that is like death & yes, i've had customers give me pain killers!! Deep massages to your temples, love Posie
