I visited Brisbane's Finders Keepers Markets last Saturday and it was wonderful. I bumped into many lovely friends so it made for a great day out. I thought I would share the treasures that I acquired on the day since some of you have been asking.
I have been a fan of Mondo Cherry for some time now and really wanted one of their pieces for my new home. The mother and daughters team hand-make the most beautiful artwork from fabrics and vintage papers.
I couldn't resist these gorgeous birds that have been glamorised with a diamantes touch. Visit the Mondo Cherry website to see more.
I've been love with Kim Wallace's clay creations ever since I first saw them on the Udessi website that she owns and operates. I am so happy with my little bowl that is the perfect size to keep rings on my bedside table. Each of the bowls is hand-made (of course) and have been imprinted with a vintage doily. Clever!
Interestingly enough, both of my purchases are from Brisbane artists. We really do have a lot of talent in town. What did you find?
The winner of my fabric giveaway is Kerris Hangups. Congratulations.

These are gorgeous!! I went to the Finders Keepers on Sunday too and loved it - got some gorgeous little things. I can't believe you're renting a place at Karragarra this weekend!! We'll be over there too. What a coincidence. Yes, our place is dog friendly but so are a few places on the island I think. Where are you staying?
We are staying at Tea Cosy Cottage (such a cute name). Really looking forward to some quiet time.
Just lovely, the bowl is perfection. I bought a fat quarter of hand-printed material from Pippinjoe, which I cannot bring myself to cut! Then my little girl decided to throw a tantrum. I think next time I'll go by myself!
