Art for Our Morning Tea

Thank you to the lovely bloggers who have already RSVP'd for the Australia's Biggest Morning Tea that we are hosting in our studio on Thursday, 26th May.

'Neon Blossoms'

The event is to raise funds for the Cancer Council of Australia. If you would like to join us, visit our event page and RSVP or leave a comment on this post. We are giving each guest a goodie bag that includes a Thea & Sami linen tea-towel and other items donated by guests and readers. Let me know if you would like to include something or your promotional material.

'Hilltop Life'

Georgina Berkman is a local artist who is donating reproduction postcards of her colourful pen drawings for the goodie bags. If you are unable to attend our event but would like to help us reach our goal of raising $500, please consider making a small donation to the Cancer Council here. Cancer affects everyone!

'Birds and Blossoms'

I hope you have something nice planned for this beautiful (in Brisbane) Autumn's day. I'm off to meet a dear friend for breakfast and then will keep painting the fabric shelves this afternoon.

I would love to come, and I will bring a friend too.
(note I RSVP at the morning tea link)
I have a funky bright yellow and white painting of Morton Bay that I would like to donate.
Thanks,
Sarah

I'd love to come along, but will sadly be tied up with the silly day job ... I'm sure it will be a wonderful event and raise lots of money for such an important cause.

I hope you had a lovely weekend (the weather in Brisbane has been glorious of late).
xx

I look forward to seeing you again Sandrine and meeting you and your friend Sarah!

Thank you so much for your generosity Sarah. I think we might sell some raffle tickets to raise more money and use bigger items such as your painting. If you would like to email me a photo of it, I can post it on the blog and link back to you.

Don't forget if you can't come, you can still make a donation.
