Australia's Biggest Morning Tea

Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is an annual event held across our nation to assist the Cancer Council with winning the war against Cancer.

Did you know that 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with Cancer before they are 85? Those are scarey statistics!

As Voyt is a cancer survivor and both of us have lost family to the disease, I have decided to host a Morning Tea this year and you are invited.

The venue will be our new Studio Shop and the date is Thursday, 26th May so do mark it in your diaries for 10.00 am - 12.00 pm.
We ask that all guests donate $20 to the cause and 20% from any Studio Shop sales on the day will also be donated to the Cancer Council.

Attendees will receive a goodie bag that will include a Thea & Sami hand-printed, linen tea-towel. If you would like to donate something small to the goodie bag to promote your own business, that would be lovely too.

I have set up a Facebook event page for RSVP's to ensure that we cater for everyone and that we have enough goodie bags. Otherwise, please email me.

If you are unable to attend, you may choose to make a donation to the Cancer Council through my Morning Tea page. My goal is to raise at least $500.

I hope that fellow Queenslanders are enjoying the Labour Day holiday today. I am catching up with housework and a few little painting projects that I will share with you soon.

What a lovely idea. I too have lost family members to this horrible disease and my sister is a survivor so I'd love to get involved. I hope I can make it up :-)

Such a great initiative, and great idea to hole a morning tea Thea. I'm looking forward to meeting you, possibly Zoe, but essentially seeing your new premises, and stock in person.
