From Rust to Yellow

Our living room curtains are being installed tomorrow so I've been motivated to finish off little projects around the house this weekend.

I'm quite happy with how these metal side tables turned out considering we had them for so long and they were rusting away.

Just a little cleaning with steel wool, some priming and then a few fine coats of Dulux "Carnival Yellow" spray paint, suitable for metal.

I feel so good about upcycling and will be revealing more bits and pieces over the next few weeks. Now back to watching the Rugby Final. Go New Zealand and make Australasia proud!

Wowee!
What a transformation - these really are bursts of happiness, I hope they are in a place where others get to enjoy their gorgeous hues.

As for the Rugby, I can hear Captain V cheering out downstairs, not sure who he's decided to barrack for.

I absolutely love the colour - see what happens when you use spray cans for good! And yes, go Australasia.

Great tables, never seen anything like them, good find and what a cheerful make-over.

I'm working on a home decor scheme at the moment too, so I love seeing what other people are doing! The yellow looks very funky. Good funky, not bad funky!
