Collaborating with A-M

How much fun is it collaborating with friends?

Yesterday, I had a studio visit from the lovely Anne-Maree of The House that A-M Built fame who brought along a range of her Cape Cod style wall sconces.

We had fun playing around with fabrics with the idea of offering something unique and above the plain linen lampshades that come standard with the lighting fixtures.

Hey A-M, I may not have Instagram (yet) but I do offer instant colour sampling! This is how I screen-print with a large fabric screen when there isn't an assistant in sight. Screen-printing sideways is not advisable for beginners!

This is 'high-tech drying' as A-M calls it.

We both liked the 'Fretwork' white print on the Duckegg Blue /Natural Linen. This is the same fabric that is draped over the lampshade in the top image.

And drumroll... I can finally announce that our Upholstery weight natural linen is now available for sale on our website. A fabric sample can also be ordered through the page. Please contact me to have any of our designs screen-printed on this heavier basecloth. Can't wait to start printing this!

Some images are taken by A-M and some by me.
