Romantic Prairie Style

There are some lovely decor books out right now. I recently purchased Romantic Prairie Style by Fifi O'Neill and as one of the most beautiful books I have ever read, it's set to be a personal favourite for me.

French-born O'Neill has lived on the prairies of both Manitoba and Illinois and her book reflects that way of life. Her book epitomises the style I love.

I'm in love with this white and turquoise palette and the use of vintage windows.

The loveliness has inspired me to set a new goal. With the studio and shop now finished and that photo-shoot behind me, we are planning to get our neglected house into ship-shape too.

The goal is to have our home ready for photography by the end of this year. Deadlines work very well for me.

Who would ever want to stay in a hotel with a bathroom this pretty at home?

Decorating shouldn't end indoors. My husband has agreed to paint our verandah white too. Love!

With books being quite expensive in Australia (why is that?) I have recently discovered UK-based Book Depository (thanks Julie) who will ship books anywhere in the world for FREE! Expect to save around 50% on local new book prices with an extra 10% off prices until the end of May. I need to go book shopping.

You can purchase Romantic Prairie Style here.
Have you found any new favourites lately?
