Shopping in Ipswich

There are lots of lovely stores popping up in Ipswich lately. The town holds a special place in my heart as I was born and lived there until I was .

Our favourite store is Province Modern Country who also stocks a range of Thea & Sami homewares. If you love French decor and contemporary country style, you need to visit them now!

If you've been looking for an eco-friendly range of cleaning products, check out the Murchison-Hume range in store.

There's plenty of colour too! You will also find Province Modern Country on Facebook and Blog. Say hello to Naomi when you visit.

Linen Cushions Now Available

I have spent the best part of today editing photos but am happy that new hand-printed linen cushions are now listed on our website.

You have the option of ordering cushion covers only or complete with the inserts. Don't forget that we can also customise cushions to your specifications.

Do you go through phases of loving a particular colour? I can't get enough of printing this creme shade on our natural flax linen. Stay tuned as we have now bought some dining chairs for our table and will be covering them with this same fabric, our classic Marguerite floral design. I know I'm excited!

And of course, how could we not make Peacock Party cushions? This has been our best selling fabric of late.

Keep checking our sales page too as I will be listing items to clear stock weekly as time permits. I can't believe that tomorrow is Friday already.

New Natural Linens!

As promised, new natural linens are now available through our on-line store.

How perfect is this Marseille striped linen for creating your own French style decor?

If you don't wish to sew your own homewares, Thea & Sami's own range of linen cushions will be available soon and in time for the Life In Style trade show.

My favourite new fabric is the ever-popular Petersburg linen now available in a traditional Duck Egg Blue colour. The fabric is woven with flax and light blue fibres. I can't wait to test print some pink shades on this one.

As with all of our high-quality European linens, these have been pre-washed and pre-shrunk so can be safely laundered. The best news for some may be that the the linens are now available in minimums of 1/2 metre lengths. If you're uncertain, you have the option of ordering swatches. Simply use drop-down menu that is at the bottom of each fabric page.

Oh la la, are you feeling inspired?
