The Big Catch.

I am really looking forward to going to the Thea & Sami studio today as the new fish screen has arrived. See my previous post on positively fishy.

As you can see, the screen is almost as tall as Voyt (husband) and he is no shorty at 179 cm (5' 11") tall. Please excuse the sandal wearing in the middle of our winter but he is Polish.

I will be registering the screen to make sure that the design is printed straight and evenly across the fabric. The most exciting part is always screen-printing a design for the first time. I can't wait to see the fish on the organic cotton fabric!

Not entirely true about the sandals. Recently I've been suffering from an elephant size swelling of my left foot, so that's what's been forcing me to wear sandals. I have to admit, I don't have a valid excuse for my right foot, so let's attribute it to my Polishness and leave it at that.

I would love to hang that screen on my wall! What's the general life span of one of those things? I guess I'll have to make do with a table runner.

The design doesn't come off until you have it chemically stripped off. The only danger is ripping the mesh which had happened to me on a couple of occasions by being careless.

I know that's just the screen, but it's almost gorgeous enough to hang on the wall as art in it's own right Thea!
