Now, this place isn't for everyone as it is REALLY quiet with not even a single shop on the island but it was ideal for me although the man was a little disappointed that he wasn't allowed to drum. I spent the first day blissfully doing nothing but reading and watching tv. The place we stayed at is called Teacosy Cottage (cute hey?) and you can see the details here.

So what are you doing this weekend? I'm looking forward to visiting the BrisStyle Eco Markets tomorrow. It's so nice being able to go to markets as a visitor. I've never had a chance to get to any of the BrisStyle markets before so am really looking forward to it. You can check who's trading on the website.

I have a rather busy weekend!
I'll be visiting the BrisStyle Eco Markets tomorrow (after my driving lesson), followed by visiting Katherine from the Old Boathouse to pick a chair that converts into a step ladder. Then cheese and wine from mid afternoon to celebrate my birthday with friends - yay!
Hey Thea, Might see you tomorrow I'm heading to the BiEco about 9 (as a shopper yay!) Em
Hi Thea, sounds like a great spot we always holiday with our dog too so it's always nice to hear about pet friendly places that aren't too far away, cheers katherine

Your 3 day getawsy sounded perfect Thea ... could do with one myself! Teaching a few wirwork ring classes on Saturday and on Sunday, I hit the road and take the new wheels for a burn! Enjoy the markets!
Glad you got to have some down time _ we all need to get away from time to time. Will definitely look at the place you stayed - dog friendly places are on our agenda too
